Marketing Lead - Full-Time | Amsterdam HQ

We're Grovero, an Amsterdam-based startup on a mission to make growing fresh, sustainable greens possible anywhere, from restaurant kitchens to homes and offices.

Our product,
MiniGro
, is a compact, automated indoor microfarm that lets chefs and creators grow premium greens right where they're served.

We're now looking for our
first full-time marketing hire
- someone ready to take the lead on our digital presence, brand, and growth.

Your Role

You'll lead Grovero's marketing from strategy to execution
, working with a small group of interns supporting content, social media, and partnerships.

Your focus will be to strengthen Grovero's brand, generate qualified leads, and help convert them into sales.

We're looking for someone hands-on, proactive, and full of initiative
- someone who doesn't wait for tasks but creates opportunities.

You'll work closely with the founders and sales team to turn ideas into measurable results across channels.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute Grovero's online marketing strategy (organic and paid).
  • Manage and grow our social media presence across Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Build and A/B test paid ad funnels to optimize conversions.
  • Set up and manage our Shopify products, including email, SMS, and cross-selling campaigns.
  • Plan and run digital campaigns - paid ads, remarketing, and lead generation.
  • Oversee email marketing, website content, and overall digital brand presence.
  • Track performance metrics and continuously optimize for ROI.
  • Guide and mentor marketing interns on content creation, engagement, and partnerships.
  • Coordinate with designers, agencies, and distributors to ensure brand execution is sharp and consistent.

What we're looking for

  • 3-4 years of experience in digital or growth marketing (ideally in a startup or D2C/B2B environment).
  • Strong command of social media, content creation, and paid performance tools (Meta, LinkedIn, Google).
  • Confident working with analytics and making data-driven decisions.
  • Hands-on, creative, and proactive - you can move seamlessly from strategy to execution.
  • Comfortable managing projects and guiding interns or freelancers.
  • Fluent in English; Dutch or German is a plus.

You don't need to know it all - but you need the drive to figure things out, experiment, and make things work.
