Event Representative

Associated Supervisor: Heads of Communications

Location: Delft, The Netherlands (or nearby)

Do you enjoy connecting with people, exploring new opportunities, and representing something meaningful? We're looking for a motivated and outgoing Event Representative to help us bring Team Tumbleweed and its novel approach to Mars exploration to the forefront of the innovation scene, both locally and internationally.

As an Event Representative, you'll be the face of our team at public events, conferences, and fairs. You'll research new opportunities, help organize workshops, and represent our mission to reach Mars. This is a dynamic and social role where every day brings something new, from talking to students and industry professionals to helping shape the events that make our team shine.

Research and identify relevant events and networking opportunities in the Netherlands and beyond

Attend and represent Team Tumbleweed at events, fairs, and workshops

Help organize and coordinate team-led events on campus and in the community

Support recruiting activities by distributing and assisting with marketing materials, and promoting open positions

Collaborate with the communications team to share event highlights and updates

Based in or near Delft, with the ability to attend in-person events

Strong communication and social skills, comfortable engaging with diverse audiences

Organized and proactive, with an eye for new opportunities

Excellent English (Dutch is a plus)

Commitment of ~1015 hours per week
