Over Synchron Lab Automation

Synchron Lab Automation ontwikkelt en bouwt innovatieve laboratoriumautomatiseringssystemen voor de (bio)technologische en farmaceutische industrie. Onze oplossingen combineren mechanica, elektronica en software om complexe laboratoriumprocessen te automatiseren.

Binnen Synchron werken we met een klein, multidisciplinair team van engineers met een HBO-achtergrond in onder andere mechatronica en technische informatica. De cultuur is innovatief, hands-on, professioneel en informeel met ruimte voor groei.

De functie

Als Technical Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor het ontwerpen, realiseren en testen van mechatronische oplossingen binnen onze projecten. Je combineert kennis van mechanica, elektrotechniek en software om onze geautomatiseerde laboratoriumsystemen te ontwikkelen en verbeteren.

Je werkzaamheden omvatten onder andere:

·      Ontwerpen van mechanische en mechatronische modules, inclusief elektrotechnische componenten zoals I/O-kasten (geen printplaatontwerp).

·      Bouwen en testen van prototypes en nieuwe concepten.

·      Ondersteunen bij de assemblage en schrijven van assemblage- en testinstructies.

·      Programmeren en aansturen van PLC's en werken met onze eigen Xperimate Controller Software.

·      Samenwerken met collega-engineers en andere disciplines (elektronica, software, projectmanagement) om integrale oplossingen te realiseren.

·      Incidenteel ondersteuning bij inbedrijfname, trainingen, beurzen en systeemondersteuning bij klanten.

·      Je werkt voornamelijk in-house in Etten-Leur/Breda, maar bent ook betrokken bij het in gebruik nemen van systemen op locatie.

Functie-eisen

HBO-diploma in Mechatronica, Werktuigbouwkunde, Elektrotechniek of vergelijkbaar.

Ervaring (pré) met:

·      SolidWorks (mechanisch ontwerp)

·      Codesys en bij voorkeur C#

·      SafeExpert / SISTEMA (veiligheidsanalyse)

·      Affiniteit met zowel ontwerp als uitvoering: je werkt graag zowel achter het scherm als in de werkplaats.

·      Kennis van besturingstechniek, pneumatiek en motion control is een pré.

·      Goede communicatieve vaardigheden en een proactieve, zelfstandige werkhouding.

Organisatorisch

Je werkt binnen het engineeringteam van Synchron Lab Automation. Functioneel rapporteer je aan de Project Manager voor projectuitvoering en planning. Hiërarchisch rapporteer je aan de Technical Manager, die verantwoordelijk is voor technische kwaliteit, ontwikkeling en innovatie.
