For our Communications team composed of four team members, we are looking for a Communications Intern hours) to be based in Amersfoort, the Netherlands.

Main responsibilities

  • Updating, maintaining and producing digital content for Oikocredit's corporate website, social media channels and intranet.
  • Supporting the planning and the release of the quarterly financial results.
  • Coordinating review and translation processes.
  • Maintaining/managing the photo & video publication process, responsible for our multimedia database tool.
  • Supporting the creation of corporate videos, corporate publications and digital newsletters.
  • Researching and updating our media distribution list.
  • Supporting online and on-site internal events.
  • Responding to ad-hoc marketing and communications requests from our offices around the world.

Education, skills and experience

  • Students enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree programme in the Netherlands in the field of communications, marketing, or related.
  • A strong interest in development finance.
  • Some (work) experience in communications and/or marketing.
  • Experience in content creation will be considered an asset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, other languages (French, Spanish) will be considered an asset.
  • Excellent command of MS Office.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management and self-organisation skills.
  • Highly self-motivated and comfortable working in a remote environment.

  • You will receive an internship allowance amounting to € 500,00 gross per month on the basis of 40 hours per week (Dutch standard internship allowance). In case the number of hours is less, the allowance will be calculated pro rata. In case you do not have a public transport (OV) subscription, Oikocredit will reimburse travel expenses on the base of second class public transport.

Additional remarks

We also offer the possibility to write a thesis if this is required by your studies.

The start date will be in February 2026 or shortly after, for a period of 4 – 6 months.
