OTC Flow continues its journey towards becoming the market leader in the environmental commodity sector. We are actively seeking for junior sales traders to join our expanding sales trading team based in Amsterdam.

About the role

As a junior sales trader, your primary objective will be to develop your own client portfolio and offer strategic trading solutions that help clients achieve their environmental compliance goals. Throughout a rigorous 6-month contract, you will focus on proactive outreach, including cold calling and client meetings, while executing trades.

You'll collaborate closely with seasoned sales traders and participate in comprehensive training sessions, receiving continuous support for your professional growth. This immersive experience at OTC Flow is designed to enhance your knowledge and skills, paving the way for your success in the industry.

Main Responsibilities:

• Proactively develop and expand your client portfolio through direct outreach, including cold calling.
• Take ownership of achieving personal revenue and profit (PnL) targets.
• Execute trades efficiently and accurately.
• Engage with clients via phone, online platforms, and face-to-face meetings to understand and address their business needs.
• Deliver daily pricing updates and market insights to stakeholders through professional messaging systems.
• Stay informed on market trends and relevant financial developments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 0–2 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, account management, or client-facing roles.
  
• Strong communication and negotiation skills; previous cold calling experience is a significant advantage.
• Passionate about building and nurturing client relationships over the phone.
• A strong interest in commodity trading.
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
• Native-level fluency in either; German, Polish, French, Spanish, Italian or any Nordic language, along with excellent English communication skills.
