To expand our team, we are looking for a:

Assistant Purchase Manager (fulltime)

The Purchasing department is responsible for procuring medical products within the company. A stable network of various suppliers has been established, which requires careful maintenance while continuously exploring new supplier opportunities.
The purchaser is responsible for the entire purchasing process; maintaining supplier contacts and relationships with suppliers, negotiating whenever possible, and securing the best deals. Additionally, the purchaser monitors the progress of outstanding orders.

Within the Purchasing department, there are 3 main tasks:

  • Processing customer orders and ensuring the correct and complete order process to the supplier(s).
  • Matching supply and demand; requesting quotes from existing suppliers, negotiating prices, and considering opportunities within the medical market. Maintaining and establishing contact with suppliers.
  • Ensuring complete administrative support for Purchasing.

A purchaser at CARDIMED B.V. is a key link in the communication between the customer and suppliers on one hand, and colleagues on the other. They continuously contribute to the organization and monitor market developments of our products.
In addition to administrative tasks, there is always room for strategic thinking. This includes establishing contact with potential new suppliers, advising the team leader and CPO, solving problems, and making connections that could lead to commercial success.

We ask for:

  • Minimum MBO+ work and thinking level, preferably with a background in medical distribution;
  • Proficient in English; knowledge of German and Dutch is an advantage.
  • Independence and a precise, proactive work attitude;
  • Stress resistance and a positive attitude;
  • A team player with a sharp eye for detail.
