Internship: People Operations / Recruitment Specialist

Sunweb Group is looking for an enthusiastic People Operations / Recruitment Intern to join our People, Culture & Organization team. This is a work-along internship, where you become part of the team and gain hands-on experience; not a thesis assignment.

Availability: 32-40 hours

Your impact

At Sunweb Group, we're looking for an enthusiastic People Operations / Recruitment Intern to strengthen our People, Organization & Culture (POC) team. Our goal is to deliver exceptional employee experiences through a service-oriented Employee Experience approach.

In this internship, you will gain hands-on experience in both People Operations and Talent Acquisition, working closely with specialists focused on Processes, Payroll, People Analytics, and broader HR topics such as Compensation & Benefits and Onboarding.

This is a unique opportunity to learn how HR works from A to Z while contributing your own ideas to help us attract, support, and engage our talented people.

People Operations

• Support the full employee life cycle by handling operational tasks related to contracts, employee data, and day-to-day HR queries.
• Maintain and update employee files with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across the People team and other departments on both daily tasks and project-based initiatives.
• Stay informed about the latest HR trends and best practices to help us continuously improve our processes.

Recruitment

• Screen CVs and application forms to help identify top talent for corporate positions across all our European hub offices.
• Support the recruitment of our Guides and Event teams for the summer and winter seasons.
• Schedule and confirm interviews with candidates.
• Post, update, and remove job ads on job boards, our careers page, and social media.
• Help source and create engaging content for LinkedIn and Instagram.
• Support the organization of fun company events such as Talent Days and Team Building activities.

What you bring

• You are currently an HBO or Bachelor student in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing & Communication, or a related field.
• You have a strong interest in HR, People Operations, and/or recruitment.
• You are detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling multiple priorities.
• You are proactive, eager to learn, and not afraid to share your own ideas.
• You enjoy working with people and can build relationships across departments.
• You are tech-savvy and comfortable working with HR systems and digital tools.
• You have good verbal and written communication skills in English (Dutch is a big plus).
