General function description

You are able to teach and develop courses that are closely linked to real-world (hospitality) management and marketing practices

Candidate profile

HTH is seeking to appoint a Lecturer with a background in Business Transformation and/ or Business Strategy with a focus on Marketing/Strategic Marketing. For this appointment, we would welcome applications from high quality candidates with real-world experience in any area of business development, business transformation, strategy, digital transformation/marketing and/ or business/marketing consulting seeking satisfaction in sharing their knowledge & experience with our students.

You have/are:

A critical and strategic thinker able to illustrate theoretical concepts with relevant real-world business examples

Strong analytical and conceptual skills and an ability to explain complex business ecosystems, enabling students to join the dots

Familiar with theoretical management and marketing frameworks and concepts

Excellent coaching skills with an emphasis on coaching students to handle real-world professional assignments

A Master's degree or a commitment to obtaining one

An excellent command of the English language (C1 level)

Excellent social skills and the ability to work independently, as well as in a multidisciplinary team

A proactive attitude to problem solving

Formal teaching experience is a bonus

Remuneration

Hotelschool The Hague offers a salary based on scale 11 of the labour agreement of Universities of Applied Science (CAO HBO) with a range between € 4.535,76 and €6.359,47 per month, depending on your professional experience and qualifications.

In addition, Hotelschool The Hague offers:

Additional information

Hotelschool The Hague works with a 40-hour workweek. The starting date for this position is as soon as possible depending on the notice period of the applicant.
