The role

The Finance Business Partner acts as a strategic financial advisor to commercial and operational functions, and cross-functional business units. This role provides analysis, insights, and financial guidance to support revenue growth, profitability, cost discipline, and major commercial initiatives. The role works independently on complex analyses, partners closely with stakeholders, and contributes to budget planning, methodology setting, and ongoing performance monitoring.

Your responsibilities will include:

Business Partnering

· Build strong relationships and serve as a trusted financial partner to stakeholders in the business to define and drive financial strategy, aligned with business long-term strategy.

· Develop and maintain reports for functions leaders and provide financial insights to support business decisions, strategic initiatives, and operational performance.

· Support business owners (Sales, Marketing, Ops, Functional Leads) with budgeting, monthly reviews, and cost control.

· Communicate financial implications of business activities to non-finance stakeholders in a clear and actionable way.

Revenue & Marketing Support

· Partner with Sales & Marketing leadership to monitor revenue performance, pipeline dynamics, bookings, churn, and ROI of marketing initiatives.

· Evaluate marketing investments and provide insights into campaign effectiveness and customer acquisition costs.

· Support revenue forecasting, trend analysis, and performance tracking against targets.

Major Deals Economics & Methodology

· Perform financial modelling and profitability analysis for major deals and strategic contracts.

· Support methodology development for deal pricing, discounting, unit economics, and long-term profitability evaluation.

· Collaborate with Sales, Legal, Product, and Operations to assess commercial structures and contract terms.

Departments' Expenses (HC & Opex)

· Act as the finance point of contact for departmental heads regarding headcount planning, HC costs, Opex, and spending discipline.

· Review monthly variances, spending patterns, and hiring impacts.

· Ensure alignment of departmental planning with company financial objectives.

New Initiatives Budget Control

· Partner with project leads to evaluate and monitor financial performance of new initiatives and cross-functional projects.

· Support business cases, budget requests, cost estimates, and ROI analyses.

· Track initiative spend and forecast impact on financial results.

Planning, Forecasting & Reporting

· Drive annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and monthly reporting cycles for dedicated functions.

· Prepare financial dashboards, variance analyses, and performance insights for business functions.

· Ensure data accuracy and consistency in financial reporting.

Process Improvement & Systems

· Contribute to improving FP&A tools, methodologies, and reporting frameworks.

· Support automation efforts and enhancement of planning systems and BI dashboards.

· Recommend process improvements that increase visibility, control, and analytical depth.

We expect you to have:

· 6+ years of experience in FP&A, business partnering, commercial finance, or similar roles.

· Strong analytical capabilities and advanced financial modeling skills.

· Experience partnering with commercial and operational teams.

· Understanding of revenue dynamics, cost structures, and customer/unit economics.

· Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of fostering strong relationships and collaborating effectively with multicultural teams across various regions and time zones.

· Extensive experience with planning applications (Oracle NSPB is preferred) and related tools (Oracle EPM/NetSuit, BI tooks, etc.)

· Ability to work independently on moderately complex financial problems.

· Proficient in the English language, both written and verbal

It will be an added bonus if you have:

· Experience supporting major deal pricing, SaaS/tech revenue models, or infrastructure/capex-heavy operations.

· Exposure budget control, HC planning, or Opex management.

· Experience in international, and fast-paced environments.

· Professional qualification or progress toward CMA/CIMA/CPA/CFA or equivalent.
