About the Role

As an AR Specialist, you will support our rapidly expanding European operations—mostly the Benelux region—by ensuring accurate Accounts Receivable management, efficient invoicing processes, and reliable financial reporting. Beyond daily AR activities, this role contributes to financial analysis, revenue reconciliation, dealer profitability evaluation, and cross-border compliance. Your analytical insights will play a key role in supporting informed financial and operational decisions.

Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable & Billing

  • Support the Finance Manager with daily AR operations, billing activities, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely customer invoicing in accordance with company policies and local regulations.
  • Track customer payments, monitor overdue balances, and coordinate with customers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
  • Liaise with banks on the interest-free period of wholesale financing programs, reviewing credit limits and settlement schedules.
  • Maintain required documentation for bookkeeping, audits, and compliance purposes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Sales, Logistics, and customers regarding invoicing, inventory status, and outstanding balances.

Intercompany & Compliance

  • Manage intercompany transactions and perform monthly reconciliations.
  • Work with external accountants to ensure compliance with country-specific invoicing, VAT rules, and statutory requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT developers to set up and enhance automated billing processes, ensuring compliance across different countries.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare monthly AR reports, including aging reports and revenue reconciliation reports between subsidiaries.
  • Support the preparation of the Country-by-Country Report (CbCR).
  • Perform periodic reconciliation of inventory, revenue, and COGS.
  • Prepare dealer incentive calculations and validate supporting documentation.
  • Analyse dealer margins, profitability, and financial KPIs.
  • Provide analytical support for management reporting, decision-making, and process improvements.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Financial Analysis, or similar roles within a multinational environment.
  • Solid understanding of AR processes, intercompany transactions, and fundamental accounting principles (IFRS knowledge is a plus).
  • Experience working with ERP systems.
  • Advanced Excel and data-analysis skills; Power BI experience is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical, proactive, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
