JBAndrews is currently working exclusively on behalf of a growing dairy manufacturing company who are seeking to hire a Product Innovation Lead/Manager. The company offers a range of dairy products including milk, yoghurt and sweet deserts and is eager to expand the plant-based segment of its product portfolio.

Position Summary

The Product Innovation Lead/Manager will play a critical role in identifying gaps in the current portfolio, before targeting them from production through to launch. This position blends project leadership and strategic planning with hands-on execution to support profitability and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the vision of expanding overall output.
  • Streamline current processes and bring new products to market.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with other departments to achieve the broader goal. This may include working with supplier partners and taking a hands on approach, including developing your own recipe's.
  • Manage the purchasing and supply of raw materials.
  • Analyse the market to adapt roadmaps and manage resources accordingly.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science (or similar).
  • 5+ years' experience in Product Innovation, including leadership experience.
  • Expertise in dairy and plant-based dairy.
  • Strong reporting skills and structured approach to work.
