. You will play a critical role in managing the company's business portfolio, with a particular focus on monitoring the Company's performance while supporting its strategic business objectives. The role involves working closely with senior leadership, financial institutions and cross‑functional teams to drive strategic initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory and project financing requirements.

About Eni Netherlands CCUS B.V.

Eni Netherlands CCUS B.V. has the ambition to be a key CCS player in the Netherlands and plays an integral role in the Aramis Value Chain via its L10-CCS project. With a total storage capacity of approximately 100 MT, it is currently the largest Co2 store in the Dutch North Sea. L10-CCS is aiming to start Co2 injection for storage by 2030 and is a key infrastructure in the Dutch energy landscape, playing an essential role for decarbonisation of North West Europe, particularly with regards to hard-to-abate sectors.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop plans that define strategies, objectives and actions aligned with the company's mission.
  • Oversee budget implementation, re‑forecasting, performance measurement and corrective actions.
  • Manage accounting activities and prepare monthly Statements of Expenditure.
  • Produce monthly expenditure reports in line with international standards and Eni accounting principles.
  • Conduct cost control, ensuring correct allocation, budget compliance and variance analysis.
  • Follow up on action plans arising from shareholders' audits and monitor corrective actions.
  • Provide financial and insurance services required by the company.
  • Oversee company tax payments and settlements.
  • Analyse market and competitor data to assess performance and identify trends.
  • Support the development of long‑term goals and strategies aligned with planning and control.
  • Build and maintain financial models for asset valuation.
  • Identify and assess acquisition and disposal opportunities, ensuring alignment with portfolio objectives.
  • Analyse and optimise the structure of potential M&A transactions.
  • Coordinate the execution of M&A processes.
  • Prepare regular and ad‑hoc reports for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with Investment Banks and oversee selection processes.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of Finance procedures, ensuring optimisation and compliance.
  • Provide cross‑departmental support in line with company methodologies and procedures.
  • Carry out ad‑hoc finance‑related tasks as required.
  • Supervise, appraise, and develop direct reports, and support recruitment under the MD's guidance.
  • Comply with the Company's Health, Safety & Environment policies and standards.
  • Ensure full adherence to the Company Code of Ethics and Compliance Model.

Skills and experience required
:

  • University degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Management, or equivalent.
  • Membership of a recognised accounting body is recommended.
  • Extensive experience in Planning, Control and Reporting, preferably within a holding, private equity, or investment structure in the energy sector at supervisory level.
  • Proven experience managing a team.
  • Working knowledge of SAP for all finance‑related activities.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure.
  • Works collaboratively with others to set goals, solve problems and make sound decisions.
  • Flexible, proactive and adaptable.
  • Comfortable operating in multicultural environments.
  • Skilled in coaching and motivating teams, especially under tight deadlines or shifting priorities.
  • Builds and maintains positive internal and external working relationships.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
