Lead local HR operations and support business goals

Deliver reliable HR support and local initiatives
As HR Manager, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR support across the employee lifecycle. You will manage local HR operations, ensure compliance with local law and regulations, and act as a trusted advisor to managers. The role involves translating global HR strategies into local actions, improving processes, and supporting business needs. 

Your responsibility will be to:

Provide end-to-end HR support to managers and employeesLead local payroll, insurance, pension and compensation, performance and talent processesManage employee relations and advise managers on policies and legislationMaintain HR systems, records and compliance reporting

You manage and work closely with a Sr. HR Coordinator in the Rotterdam office. You report to VP, HR HV Solutions Karlskrona and work closely with the Director NL and global HR colleagues. The role is based in the Rotterdam and may involve occasional travel.

Experienced HR professional with a collaborative mindset
You are someone who values structure, clarity and collaboration. You build trust through consistent communication and a practical approach to problem-solving. You are comfortable working in a matrix organization and enjoy contributing to both strategic and operational HR matters. You advocate for your ideas, balancing assertiveness with a collaborative mindset to ensure meaningful outcomes.

You also have:

Several years of experience from HR operations, including end-to-end HR support, onboarding, offboarding, payroll, pension and employer insuranceSolid understanding of Dutch employment lawUnderstanding of the WOR (Wet op de Ondernemingsraden) is beneficialProficiency in Dutch and English
