This role is critical in ensuring the proper receiving, handling, storing, organization, and delivery of documentation at construction sites.The Site Document Controller reports functionally to the Head of C&C Site Support and operationally to the Site Manager. Depending on project scope, this may be a dedicated role or combined with another function.ResponsibilitiesAs a Site Document Controller, you will:Receive, return, and manage all site documentation (excluding PCD, cable lists, and connection tables during commissioning).Organize and maintain binders at site, ensuring accuracy and updates with revisions.Stamp, mark, and track documentation for distribution and return.Distribute documents to civil supervisors, installation specialists, contractors, and commissioning engineers.Maintain records of signed transmittals and checked-out documents.Gather and file red-line changes, sending site master documents back to the Plant Document Controller.Track revisions, change orders, and ensure proper sign-off.Secure handling and storage of Site Master documentation.Support site quality control activities in line with the Site Quality Plan.Attend and initiate meetings with stakeholders to ensure compliance with documentation processes.Knowledge, Skills & ExperienceKnowledgeExperience managing site documentation in industrial construction and commissioning projects.Familiarity with civil, installation, commissioning, and system documentation.Strong understanding of compliance and risk management in documentation handling.SkillsHighly structured and organized.Observant, agile, and proactive in documentation management.Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office).Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Minimum ExperiencePrior experience handling documentation in construction or industrial environments.Understanding of documentation types used on construction sites.EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent.Health, Safety & EnvironmentWorks in accordance with the Site Specific Health and Safety Plan.QualityEnsures project milestones and delivery meet quality standards.
