The position requires the organization of a wide range of materials, and communication with an array of internal and external customers. The ideal candidate must possess a high degree of flexibility, strong attention to detail, the ability to competently respond to direction and meet scheduling demands, and the ability to satisfy physical demands of the position, including the operation of electric and manual pallet jacks. Applicants for this position must be extremely safety conscious.Core Duties & ResponsibilitiesPreparing merchandise for shipmentLoading of trucks, and labeling of shipping informationReceiving parts and other merchandiseProperly and accurately cataloging received and shipped inventoryOrder fulfillment for various production and research and development departmentsInventory controlFrequent lifting, bending, and pullingOperation of material handling equipment, including fork lifts and pallet jacksClear and professional communication with shipping and receiving coordinators, purchasing agents, warehouse and production supervisors, production staff, and engineering staffOperation of a Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and OutlookProfessionally communicate with outside vendors and customersOccasional operation of hand toolsAssist where need as directed by the Warehouse Cell Leader and Materials LeadTravel as required for business needs; expected to drive safely and to adhere to all traffic lawsEducation And ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalentKnowledge of Microsoft Office, and Avante inventory management preferredAbility to manage time effectivelyStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent verbal communication skills, strong written communication skillsKnowledge of warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory management preferredExcellent task-oriented follow throughAbility to frequently lift up to 60lbs, pull up to 100lbs, and stand 100% of the timeAbility to work in inclement weather for short periods of timePlug Power, Inc. is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. xhsqlod All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, status as a protected veteran, or any other legally protected status.
