Legal Counsel, EMEA Nuvei Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands Your Mission Nuvei is currently seeking a lawyer based in the EU for a permanent position as Legal Counsel, EMEA. The ideal candidate has 5‐7 years of experience as a commercial attorney, with at least 3 years in regulated industries such as payments, fintech or financial services companies. We are looking for a resourceful, autonomous, and efficient colleague who excels under pressure and can thrive both independently and as part of a team. Requirements Member in good standing of a bar association in the UK or EU 5‐7 years as a commercial lawyer, with at least 3 years of relevant legal experience with payments companies, FinTechs or financial services providers, either in‐house or in a law firm Experience drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, and knowledge of applicable laws and regulations in the payment services industry Excellent negotiation and drafting skills Strong ability to develop interpersonal relationships Responsibilities In collaboration with the Associate General Counsel, EMEA, the Legal Counsel will participate in drafting, negotiating, and managing various commercial agreements with the Company's current and prospective customers, vendors, and partners worldwide. The Legal Counsel will handle a broad range of legal matters pertaining to Nuvei's business in the EMEA region and provide legal advice to local Commercial, Compliance, Finance and Operations teams as Nuvei continues to develop payment solutions for merchants in EMEA and beyond.
