Project Engineer

Short descriptionWe are seeking a Sr Project Engineer for a rapidly growing dredging client who will be responsible for a broad range of duties to ensure that projects are planned, executed, and delivered to the contractual standards for tolerance and quality.Function descriptionThis position will be under the direct supervision of the Project Manager and/or Operations Manager. Pre Project a. Analysis of project plans/specifications b. Quantity calculations and data analysis Project Preparation a. Create engineering and survey files b. Selection and preparation of engineering equipment Project execution Reporting a. Internal (daily logs, production, etc.) b. Client Reporting Production management a. Data acquisition and analysis Equipment Management a. Inventory, care, and maintenance of survey and engineering equipment Performs other related duties as assigned Participates in Safety and Environmental initiatives that will contribute to compliance of State/Federal regulations and improve existing Company programs.
