Project Manager/Package Manager

OverviewWe are seeking Project Mangers Delivery Lead on site , to join our Data Centre team in the Netherlands.Reporting to the Project Director, the Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of construction projects from pre-construction through to completion. The role ensures that work is carried out safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. ResponsibilitiesProject Delivery• Plan, manage and deliver projects in line with agreed programme, budget and specifications• Lead multidisciplinary teams across engineering, commercial, design and construction functions• Monitor progress, manage risks and implement corrective actions where required• Ensure resources are effectively allocated and project milestones are achieved• Maintain accurate reporting on progress, costs, quality and performance indicatorsQuality, Safety and Compliance• Promote and maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental performance across all activities• Ensure all works comply with design, specifications and statutory regulations• Implement and monitor project-specific quality plans, method statements and inspection regimes• Support audits, inspections and reviews to maintain compliance and continuous improvementCommercial and Contract Management• Manage budgets, forecasts, variations and project cash flow• Work closely with the commercial team to ensure accurate reporting and contract administration• Ensure procurement processes are followed and subcontractor performance is managed effectively• Support tendering and bid processes where requiredLeadership and Communication• Lead project teams, fostering collaboration, accountability and professional development• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners• Chair progress and coordination meetings, ensuring clear communication of objectives and outcomes• Act as the key point of contact for project-related queries, decisions and escalationsExperienceEssential• Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion• Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to manage teams and subcontractors• Excellent understanding of project delivery processes including scheduling, cost control and quality management• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation and best practice• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skillsDesirable• Experience delivering projects in sectors such as life sciences, data centres, infrastructure or commercial construction• Understanding of digital project delivery tools including BIM and project management software• Commercial awareness including contract law and cost management principles• Ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives and promote innovationQualificationsEssential• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline• Demonstrated experience in project management within a Tier 1 construction or engineering environment• Relevant health and safety certification (e.g. Safe Pass, CSCS, SMSTS or equivalent)Desirable• Professional membership or working towards membership of a recognised body (e.g. CIOB, Engineers Ireland, RICS, ICE)• Postgraduate qualification in project management or business management• Training in lean construction, digital project delivery or sustainability practicesAdditional InformationCompetitive apprentice salary and benefits packageStructured on-the-job training and mentoringOpportunities to gain formal qualifications and certificationsExposure to diverse, high-profile projectsSupportive and inclusive working environment with a focus on safety and personal growthOur People and Recruitment CommitmentAt Sisk, we believe great projects are delivered by great people.
