Senior Testing Engineer

ppAs a Senior Test Engineer within RD, you validate our high‑tech electronics, embedded systems and power electronics to the highest standards. You develop advanced test environments, define methodologies and deliver critical insights that drive product quality and design improvements. /p h3What will you do? /h3 pIn this role, you work on test setups, protocols and analyses for prototypes and final products within our energy solutions portfolio. You are involved in complex RD projects and contribute to building test strategies, standards and infrastructure that structurally support our development teams. /p pAs a senior, you act as a technical expert, guide less experienced colleagues and actively contribute to improving our test processes, product reliability and overall architecture. /p h3Your responsibilities include: /h3 h3Engineering Test Environment Development /h3 ul liDeveloping complex test setups and environments for high‑tech electronics and embedded systems. /li liWriting comprehensive test protocols based on IEC standards, specifications and functional requirements. /li liSupporting the build, integration and verification of test setups and measurement equipment. /li liAdvancing test methodologies and defining standards for new product platforms. /li /ul h3Testing Analysis /h3 ul liTesting prototypes and final products on embedded software, control systems, electronics and hardware. /li liAnalysing and interpreting test data and identifying root causes of deviations. /li liSelecting and applying advanced measurement equipment and test tools. /li liDocumenting test results and conclusions for internal reviews and audits. /li /ul h3Advisory Technical Improvements /h3 ul liTranslating test results into concrete design improvements. /li liAdvising engineers and project teams on hardware and software modifications to enhance testability and product performance. /li liProviding go/no‑go recommendations based on test findings. /li liContributing to product architecture through substantiated test and quality analyses. /li liAdvising Business Units on routine testing and required test equipment. /li /ul h3Seniority Leadership /h3 ul liCoaching, training and guiding junior and medior Test Engineers. /li liActing as a technical sounding board for complex challenges and engineering questions. /li liImproving and safeguarding test processes, standards and methodologies within RD. /li liParticipating in standards committees and contributing to the development of relevant (IEC) standards. /li liIdentifying risks, bottlenecks and dependencies in multidisciplinary projects. /li /ul h3What do we ask of you? /h3 ul liBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred). /li liIn‑depth knowledge of embedded systems, (power) electronics or energy storage systems. /li liExperience in writing/executing test plans for embedded and/or power electronics systems. /li liSkilled in developing test setups and using measurement equipment. /li liFamiliarity with relevant standards (e.g. IEC). /li liExperience with programming languages and/or high‑voltage, EMC and power converters. /li liIn possession of VCA and VP LS. /li liStrong analytical and communication skills. /li liExcellent command of Dutch and English. /li /ul h3What do
