About you and this role

Dow Human Resources has an exciting opportunity for a Senior HR Partner for EMEAI Finance, Legal, Public Affairs, and Government Affairs functions. This role is located in Terneuzen, The Netherlands. In the Senior HR Partner role, you will contribute directly to employee, leader, and regional success through people. You will bring value to the organization by partnering with employees and leaders across the region to deliver HR solutions and ensure compliance with applicable labor legislations, and you will translate the global people strategies to the regional implementation.

Responsibilities

Provides HR consultation and support across the EMEAI region Finance, Legal, Public Affairs, and Government Affairs functions Partner with and coach leaders to deliver people priorities aligned to business/function people strategy Advise leaders to ensure the people agenda is aligned with employee and local labor relations. Apply and advise stakeholders on relevant local law and regulations related to employee and labor relations. Oversee or lead strategic talent projects across the area of oversight. Utilize and leverage cutting-edge technology to assess organization needs, trends, and to use data to consult and advise on actions. Apply employment laws and legislated requirements with respect to people management Collaborate across the HR organization to deliver appropriate solutions and to provide the feedback loop, in order to inform policies, procedures, and HR offerings. Effectively contribute to a global team of HR partners that supports the functions. Share information freely in order to enable individual and team success. Proactively identify talent to create development plans that meet organization and individual needs.  Listen and engage with employees to be a trusted source of coaching and advice on career and development opportunities. Provide feedback to HR Solutions regarding local implementation employee/labor relationship issues. Stay closely connected with the Global HR Director for Finance, Legal, Public Affairs, and Government Affairs functions as well as the HR Partner in other regions

Qualifications

Bachelors degree required, Master’s preferred 6 years of HR experience in employee relations, talent management/succession planning, client consultation, compensation, benefits, and/or talent development.

Preferred Skills

Ability to communicate to various levels of the organization. Bias for action and willingness to work in gray space. Ability to maintain highly confidentiality information Build relationships by establishing connections at all levels to build trust, share ideas and accomplish work. Strong developer of talent by leveraging strengths, setting expectations, encouragement, and coaching. Willingness to learn and engage in courageous conversations.
