For one of our high street banks we are looking for a Product Manager. As Product Owner you need to feel ownership of the product from a changing and running perspective, and a keen sense of how to use agile practices and Scrum to maximise that value. Strive for an effective balance between system development and system maintenance. You will prioritise stories, maximise business value and keep a good relationship with stakeholders. We're looking for candidates who don't hold back and will push for solutions, are passionate about (end) customer experience and have considerable experience working in a (Scrum) software development environment. You dare to challenge and are open and concise in your communication towards your own team and other stakeholders.
Must haves:
- + 4 years of product owner experience;
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, being able to address customer issues and possible business impact;
- Convincing skills so the environment will adopt the product;
- Experience with Front-end platform development;
- Experience working with a design system;
- Focus on the frontend development stack as a product, where the user experience is key;
- Focus on system adoption and success (outcomes), rather than technical deliverables (outputs);
- Demonstrable experience in working in a technical environment and/or with developers;
- Exceptional communication skills, both in English and Dutch;
- Experience in setting up and managing a design system;
- Experience with launching platforms;
- Experience with and knowledge of Accessibility standards;
- Experience in setting up collaborative operating model;
- Banking & financial knowledge;
- Scrum Alliance or Scrum.org, Product Owner certification is a must have;
- Exposure to Agile development methodologies;
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
- Working knowledge of the Atlassian suite (JIRA and Confluence) and/or Azure DevOps;
- We're working in full-fledged DevOps teams. You are not only responsible for changing and deploying your application, you will also do what is in the customers best interest to keep it stable. By focusing on far reaching automation for all testing, deploying and monitoring you will help to improve the DevOps delivery.
