As the Lead Java Developer in one of our teams

  • you will contribute to all phases of the product's development
  • Organize your team's daily stand-up meetings and serve as the team's coach. As the lead developer, you maintain track of other developers' architectural questions, assist them as needed, and set boundaries for them;
  • Keep up to date with all relevant software development technologies;  
  • Provide field support as required; 
  • Strive for continuous improvements.

Functie-eisen
  • a technical computer science bachelor's or master's degree;
  • Understanding of System Architecture, Java Technologies (Java 8+, Java Messaging Service), and Software Testing;
  • Clean code, design patterns, cloud computing (AWS is preferred), knowledge of basic SQL databases, RCP, SWT, Eclipse IDE, Eclipse RCP, Maven, ORM (object relational mapping), OOP (object oriented programming), Git, and web technologies (REST, etc.) are all things that should be known about or experienced with;
  • Software development expertise in agile methodologies;
  • Ability to speak and write English well.
