During this internship you will be spreading the stories of our moral ambition, mission and brand through (online) media, influencers, partners, and talented denim upcyclers reaching and connecting with as many people in our impact market as possible.
Our main message: Save Jeans. Save lives

BOAS is the fast vintage fashion platform that saves jeans from being burnt and donates 90% of profits to save lives. We're looking for our newest lifesaver to join us in Amsterdam to scale our operations.

To achieve more good, we are looking for a full-time intern for a 6-month internship to start ASAP on-site in Amsterdam.

Tasks

This is you

When you're on a circular fashion mission - like Save Jeans, Save Lives - there's no stopping you. You are always on the prowl for new ways to push our brand & mission and whenever you smell an opportunity, you will not hesitate to contact that one amazingly popular influencer or talented denim upcycling designer to ask if they want to work with us and support our mission.
This doesn't mean you're a sneaky slimery sales-snakes, far from it You're fun, a networker and a people-person. You are a social savvy (Insta, TikTok etc is your religion), you’re in the know of the latest trends, media, brands and opinion leaders, you love storytelling and making sure our brand, mission and messaging is top of mind.

As an intern, you will provide all-round support to our Buying&Partnerships department.
Additionally, you will assist with various tasks associated with a fast vintage fashion company.

  • You're making sure we create awareness for BOAS by ensuring that our message and brand are visible through the right channels and people.
    How? By using the right tone of voice, creating cool and effective story lines, and researching, dealing, working and creating the future BOAS Ambassadors;
  • Together with the team you make sure that we raise awareness for BOAS as a circular vintage fashion brand and our mission “Save Jeans. Save Lives”
  • You’ll work and support our team and our denim partners on choosing the right channels and people to share our message with;
  • You'll be the key person to find new trends and creatives on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Twitch;
  • You'll be researching our target audience, learning more about their preferences, internal drivers and whereabouts;
  • You'll become an expert of the European influencer landscape, Gen Z & millennial audiences, local & global trends and building communities;
  • You’ll learn how to collect and organize data to drive insights towards and push for improvements in achieving our mission.
  • Contributing to and working towards our circular fashion goals
Requirements
  • You're studying marketing or communication (MBO/HBO/WO level);
  • You're available fulltime (5 days a week, no research internship);
  • You're available for a minimum of 3 months, from July onwards;
  • You live and breathe influencer content (Instagram, TikTok, Twitch, Youtube, etc.);
  • You’re not afraid of challenges and being the face of BOAS Fast Vintage Fashion.
    It’s always nice to help the Marketing team in bringing fresh ideas to the table;
  • You are or you could have been an influencer in a second life;
  • Your language skills are amazing, especially in English (a big plus for Dutch).
