Role Summary:
In this role, you will be involved in impactful mega international EPC projects and getting the opportunity to grow within a world class team.
You will play a critical role in our big EPC projects as we will count on you for assigning at Corporate level and is working under the direction of the Corporate Procurement Department Manager.
What you will need to do:
Procure Subcontracts as allocated by the Subcontract Manager and ensure subcontracts are delivered as per the Project Procurement Plan requirements (Time, Cost, Quality). Draft and negotiate relevant agreements (i.e. Subcontract or Services Agreement) in coordination with the Subcontracts Manager. Assist the Subcontracts Manager for all the post awards activities until the handing over of the subcontract works, including variations and claims management and drafting of the relevant correspondence. Coordinate with all relevant in-house departments to ensure all requirements are included in the bidding documents – including flow down of the Main Contract/Client’s requirements - and prepare/issue the RFQ to the subcontractors of the Bidders lists. Day-to-day review and follow up on contractual rights & duties for each subcontract. Notify the Subcontracts Manager of any contractual deviations and communicate their possible impact. Draft any correspondence with the Subcontractors, including notices to correct, variations and claims for review of the Subcontracts Manager. Adheres to procurement guidelines and work in full compliance with approved procedures, using available APICS Procurement tools and in accordance with Archirodon IMS System.What you will need to have:
Bachelor’s in engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical). Four (4) to Six (6) years of experience in a Subcontracts/ Contracts Engineer role. More experienced candidates could be considered for a Senior position. Previous experience in Oil & Gas projects is necessary. Experience in EPC Projects with ADNOC (or any equivalent) is highly preferable Previous employment with leading EPC contractors is highly preferable. Flexible for moving to site location. Fluency in English is necessaryYou are someone who:
