Job Title; Manufacturing Engineer – Electrical Engineer
The Manufacturing Engineer is part of the Operations Engineering team in Eindhoven. In this role, you will be part of the fast growing OE Equipment Team within Operation Engineering, focusing on designing, installing, maintaining and managing our factory auxiliary equipment fleet. An important additional responsibility of this position will be to ensure efficient project coordination while demonstrating your technical competence at the same time
What will you do
Support the equipment team of engineers in creating, maintaining and expanding the factory tooling fleet, predominantly of Electronics and electrical nature. Coordinate tooling projects internally and with external parties, including planning, resource allocation, budget management, and timely execution. Monitor project progress and address any challenges to ensure successful completion. Supporting technical documentation (TPD) and work instructions (WI’s), both regarding Production Systems and Electronic Manufacturing Tooling. Supporting and maintaining contacts at regional, national and international suppliers and manufacturers. Optimizing supplier internal processes and project execution ( by evaluating and auditing). Handling and processing of manufacturing product rejects in collaboration with suppliers and manufacturers. In the area of assembly, system testing and troubleshooting you give hands-on training to factory and service personnel.How to get there? (Education and experience):
Education level, work experience: BSc Electrical (electrotechniek) / Electronics engineering. Work experience: 5-10 year minimal on similar functions, preferably in tooling / test environment ( electronics/ electromechanical auxiliary systems and applications). Knowledge of and experience in PLC / PC based tools and installations; hardware setup and programming languages. Evaluating, advising and testing of third-party supplied applications. Have affinities with PC based test systems and implemented software applications. Electro technical installations in general, knowledge of required safety certifications. Having affinities with production test tooling (external) at suppliers, in the field of validation and requirements. Proven experience as a Project Leader or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. Focus on quality control and project management methodologies. Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with a strong focus on attention to detail. Have excellent English language skills (verbal and in writing). Speaking proficient Dutch is preferred due to extensive communication with regional suppliers and manufacturers.Personal Skills
Creativity to innovate electrical factory tooling and related processes. Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members. Independent and self-managing daily tasks. 'Hands-On' mentality; practical approach. Demonstrate a realistic and positive approach in solving issues. Ability to structure your work in a dynamic operational environment. You need a strong analytical approach in coping with details that need structure.
