General Accountant

As General Accountant you will maintain the books and records of the Company according to local legislation and corporate guidelines. The associate supports in all monthly/quarterly/annual reporting, as well as maintaining the account reconciliations, according to the companies standards. You will also support during internal and external audits and with the annual local accounts.

What will you do?

Responsible for SG&A reporting for the legal entities in the Netherlands and ensure that they are maintained according to US and local GAAP. Assist in audits and SOX control requirements. Establish a standardized intercompany accounting framework and oversee the intercompany transactions. Ensures timely, accurate and complete financial reporting in line with global policies and standards with the continuous goal to improve globalization, centralization, automation, standardization and simplification. Manages the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies. Delivers external reporting when required. Liaise with all interrelated departments and entities. Assist in the process of producing the Annual Reports

What are we looking for?

Education: HBO level and above is required. 5 years minimum experience in a similar role where good bookkeeping expertise and capabilities to drive changes and improvement are key to success. Ideally within a global procurement matrix organization. Languages: English at a professional level is a must.
