Role & Department Canon EMEA is looking for a Marketing Communication Specialist to join the Imaging Supplies Business. Our Imaging Supplies department covers all media (e.g. paper) and consumables that we supply to our customers. The marketing communication specialist is responsible for coordinating creation and implementation of centralised sales promotion tools, coordination of brand approvals, positioning of Canon Media as part of the overall Canon proposition during shows & exhibitions and support of central business development/promotional actions.
The specialist therefore engages with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders and will coordinate the content production to support marketing initiatives.

 In this role you will:

Lead and coordinate content creation to develop, design, launch, commercially implement and optimize the Imaging Supplies Product Line portfolio & services to support profitable growth objectives by:End-to-end marketing of new and existing Product Line offerings: Organise design and creation of sales promotion tools (product, packaging, input for web/online, design sample books) for all IS Media product groups.Focus on full range of IS Product Line offerings and support Product Marketing.Support specific business development and commercial activities (e.g. sales actions, campaigns) by providing templates, concepts, guidance and advice, both within RSHQ (Regional Sales Head Quarters) and towards NSOs (National Sales Offices).Effective collaboration and team work, promote sharing of best practices related to promotional tools between HQ and NSOs Responsible for the planning / marketing briefs of the full range of (product) marketing deliverables, and ensuring delivery via appropriate channels. Manage branding processes: Coordinate branding processes for new product introductions between suppliers (e.g. Paper Mills) and CEL, on product (packaging) as well as off product. Close cooperation with Quality Assurance & Packaging function. Responsible for design, layout and working methods around assigned IS communication platforms (IS Sharepoint as main communication platform to NSOs, blog, branding elements, input to Kura etc). Coordinate support to optimize Imaging Supplies visibility and presence during events (trade shows, exhibitions, Open Houses, Customer Experience Center).

Proven track record within Marketing communications, Product Marketing, Promotional Marketing, Bachelor / Master degree (marketing / communication or similar) Experience in marcoms of a high value brand, working with marcom agencies Experience or affinity with print, print media or graphical industry: Understanding of the market needs in the print / print media field Working experience in an international environment (int. peer network) Customer oriented, proactive attitude Applying high quality working standards Fluent in English
