We are seeking a dedicated Health and SafetyCoördinator  to join the team of our client, operatingnationwide (and Belgium). In this role, you will ensure compliancewith legal health and safety measures, arrange training, conductrisk assessments, and manage health and safety processes. Yourresponsibilities will also include preparing various reports andsupporting local teams. You must possess a recognized Europeanhealth and safety qualification (or be working towards it), haveexcellent problem-solving and analytical skills, and be willing totravel between locations. Manpower is looking nationwide fora Health & Safety Coördinator  for ourclient.

Theresponsibilities for this position include ensuring compliance withlegal health and safety measures, arranging relevant training,conducting risk assessments, and managing administrative processesrelated to health and safety incidents. The role involves preparingvarious safety reports, acting as a point of contact for localteams, supporting risk assessment preparations, and completingaccident and investigation reports. Additionally, the positionrequires staying updated on health and safety legislation andcommunicating changes to stakeholders.

This role also encompasses quality management responsibilities,such as implementing quality standards and processes, monitoringoperational procedures, and reviewing QHSE aspects withinlocations. The individual will facilitate internal and externalaudits, support the overall health and safety strategy and policy,and lead projects within the health and safety management system.The role demands flexibility for temporary assignments andcontinuous professional development through additional education ortraining.

Functie-eisen
  • Possession of a recognized European health and safetyqualification or equivalent (or currently working towards it)
  • Experiencein: Drawing up health and safety policies,implementing health and safety policies, and monitoring health andsafety policies
  • Knowledge of developing safetystrategy, policies, and procedures
  • Excellentproblem-solving and analytical skills
  • Willingness to travel between differentlocations depending on work requirements
  • Strong communication skills towards bothcolleagues and suppliers
  • Ability to convey thevalues, mission, and vision of this employer
  • In possession of a valid Driving License B
