Enterprise Architect

How will you make an impact?

As an Enterprise Architect you are responsible for defining and implementing the enterprise architecture for Ewals Cargo Care which balances the Business strategy with the IT strategy. You will pro-actively advice and challenge the user organization of the company within enterprise architecture. Moreover, you are responsible for maintaining the blueprint and challenge and steer on bringing this blueprint in practices. You will guide and steer the organization in Enterprise architecture but also in Solution architecture and will design and implement the related processes. The ultimate goal is to contribute to the business in the most optimal way and to make the organization future proof.

If you sign your first employment contract before 1st of April 2024 we will give you a starting bonus of € 1.000,00 gross

What will you do?

As our new Enterprise Architect you are responsible for drawing up frameworks and guidelines for the architecture within the organization. You connect the goals and strategy of business functions and processes with the application landscape and underlying technology and data. You will work close together with stakeholders in the business operation and IT.

Some of your key responsibilities are the following:

Chair the Architectural Design committee (ADC) with the different domain architects; Develop the enterprise architecture to ensure the strategic roadmap of the organization; Following the ‘One Ewals’ strategy you will connect with, and integrate international offices in our IT landscape; Take part in the Project Portfolio Board and discuss the projects in the ADC; Coordinate all Enterprise Architecture activities throughout the organization; Accountable for all technical system design and functional design; Drive and implement continuous improvement on enterprise architecture.

How will you get here?

Master degree in Informatics, Engineering or ICT; Solid experience, preferably in an international and logistic environment; You’re able to communicate and easily align with different stakeholders and levels in the organization; You have a holistic view, pragmatic approach and strategic mindset; Good knowledge of the English language, Dutch is a plus; Knowledge of different architecture concepts and methods such as TOFAG and AGI; Knowledge of different software programs.
