Global Strategic Pricing Senior Analyst

As Global Strategic Pricing Senior Analyst you will provide support the Global Product Management Group. They will track market indices and provide ongoing reporting to the organization on pricing trends and other market indicators. You may also lead projects to design, improve and launch new pricing tools as well.
What will you do?
Provide analysis to support the Global Product Line Managers and Global Strategic Pricing Sr.Manager to assist in the setting of product pricing and margin thresholds, consistent with market positioning and tailored to product line, region, market and/or channel as appropriate. Take the lead in providing Strategic Pricing support for Process Fluids and monitor outcomes of, and provide reports to, measure pricing strategy and tactics. Assist in the development of tools/analysis to reduce price leakage, optimize price realization, measure price elasticity, and track key pricing metrics by region and globally. Assist in the development and execution on a process to monitor contractual price changes and ensures that contractual price clauses are leveraged to optimize profitability. Assists in documenting, archiving, impact forecasting, refining and improving indices, of index pricing models and contracts. Assist in the development of a methodology for regional competitive pricing monitoring and consistent messaging about pricing to customers. Assist in developing and publishing the necessary training support materials to enable Sales to understand and articulate value proposition and value pricing. Participate in monthly management meetings to review financial and pricing performance. Support process improvement initiatives to drive efficiencies and innovation. Assist in tracking key market and raw material indices both regionally and globally. Assist in the development of supporting documentation and data to “sell” price increases to customers (slide decks, customer profitability analysis, etc.) Assist in the strategic pricing integration of any acquired business and other non-participating entities into pricing processes, tools and practices.What are we looking for?
3 to 5 years proven track record of experience in price positioning and management. Advanced to expert Microsoft Excel experience which includes building spreadsheets, pivot tables and working with complex formulas. Advanced to expert Business intelligence tools (Power BI) experience which includes building multi source data model and advanced dashboards. Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills. Detail oriented, critical attention to detail and accuracy required. Very strong demonstrated math skills, including understanding and ability to understand and perform exchange rate and unit of measure conversions accurately.
