As an MainFrame Developer, you will:

Lead resilience assessment workshops with technical teams and block teams.
Understand and recognize the diverse IT landscapes and technology stacks within various teams.
Assess the current security posture of systems and applications, evaluate threats, and propose strategic disaster recovery solutions to enhance efficiency, scalability, availability, and security.
Collaborate with engineers, technical experts, architects, and block teams to ensure a robust system architecture.
Provide oversight and influence on cyber assessment capabilities, participate in threat action groups, and document risk reports and IT assessment worksheets related to cyber resilience.
Mix quantitative and qualitative metrics to measure cyber resilience exposure.
Lead through influence and collaboration, supporting constructive input and challenges.
Set impact and risk tolerances, monitor threshold levels, and develop contingency plans for critical business services, including third-party services.

What You Bring to the Table:

A solid background in mainframe technology and a strong understanding of enterprise applications, servers, storage systems, networking, databases, and cloud technologies.
Proven experience in evaluating existing systems and infrastructure to identify areas of threat.
Expertise in designing disaster recovery solutions that encompass applications, data, infrastructure, and security considerations.
Knowledge and understanding of on-premise and cloud-based architectures.
Experience in consulting on enterprise architecture, layered architecture, and executing disaster recovery plans.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to steer workshops and meetings towards intended outcomes.

You should possess the ability to:

Collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams on technical specifications and architectural designs.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams during workshops.
Interpret existing architecture and underlying components to validate, challenge, and help define detailed recovery scenarios and solutions.
Work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
