We've all seen PostNL's logo at some point. But have you everwondered what happens between putting a letter in the mailbox andit being delivered at the right address? Every card, letter andparcel will be brought to a PostNL sorting center, where it ischecked, sorted and sent out again. As a December hero, you can bepart of this process. Especially during the busy festive season,your superpowers are more than welcome

Working hours
PostNL islooking for mail sorters for the morning, afternoon, evening andnight shifts. You work from Monday to Friday and are available fora minimum of three shifts. You can find the different shifts viathe links below:
  • Morning shift between 6.00and 15.00 hrs.
  • Afternoon shift between 11:30and 20:00 hrs.
  • Evening shift between 17.30 and2.00 hrs.
  • Night shift between 23.00 and 7.00hrs.

An average shift lasts 3to 5 hours. It is possible that your shift may run longer.

What will you needat least?
  • Own transport
  • Availability of at least 15 hours per weekfrom Monday to Friday

What will you be doing? 
Sorting mail You do this using a sorting machine. You check,label and sort all mail so that it can be delivered to the rightaddress.

What do you get outof it?
  • 21+ €13.68 - 20 years€11.08 - 19 years €10.18 - 18 years €9.28 - 17 years €8.23
  • Shift bonuses between 20% and 40% (dependingon the shift) 
  • Flexible, part-timeposition of at least three shifts a week (if you want and there iswork available, we will be happy to schedule you more)
  • Travel expense allowance in accordance withthe PostNL collective labour agreement 

Earn a €100 net referral bonus This ishow it works: you propose someone who would also like to work as amail sorter at PostNL. If you both work for at least four weeks,the bonus will be credited to youraccount 

Functie-eisen
  • Availability of at least three shifts per week
  • At least seventeen years old (you must be atleast eighteen years old to work evening and/or night shifts)
  • Good enough understanding of the Dutchlanguage to be able to  sort Dutch-language mail andcomprehend safety instructions in this language
  • Able to perform physically heavier work, asyou mainly work standing up and lift parcels up to fifteenkilograms
  • Own transport to get to the worklocation (such as a car, scooter or bicycle), as the sorting centeris impossible to reach by public transport
  • Able to provide a VOG (Certificate of Conduct)
