We’re looking for a Bookkeeper to join our team in Poeldijk, Netherlands on a 12 month fixed term contract basis.  

Responsibilities include: 

• Accurate processing of purchase invoices  

• Booking invoices against the correct sales order/consignment  

• Support with sales invoicing administration  

• Assist with ad hoc transactional duties as required  

• Prepare and reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial documents.  

• Maintain the financial records on our ERP system, ensuring the data stored is organised and up to date. 

Requirements

Experience we look for: 

Essential 

• Proven accounting experience, preferably as an Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable Clerk 

• Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures 

• Previous experience in a commercial finance environment 

• Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software 

• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports 

Desirable 

• Experience of the fresh produce/food manufacturing industry would be beneficial but not essential 

• Previous experience working with ERP systems is an advantage. 

• Previous experience of MS D365
