Are you looking for a challenging position in logistics? Do you want to grow with a sustainable organization? For Solarge in Weert we are looking for a logistics employee who will ensure that the logistics runs smoothly. You will provide the production with the right materials and ensure that the logistics stock is in order. 

As a Logistician at Solarge you are responsible for the efficient and effective handling of our logistic processes. You take care of loading, unloading and moving goods using a forklift, reach truck and EPT. Furthermore, you will be involved in receiving, storing and issuing goods. This is a full-time position where you will initially work day shift. Since it is a growing company, they will eventually move to a 2 and 3 shift operation. For now, it is a day shift position from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. It may be that there is not enough work as a logistics employee for a while, if this is not the case you will be expected to support on production for a while. 

Your work day will be as follows: 

  • Loading and unloading of goods;
  • Moving goods within the warehouse with a forklift and reach truck;
  • Checking incoming and outgoing shipments;
  • Ensuring accurate stock records, using a scanner;
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

It is a growing company with currently about 40 total employees, 20 of which are operators. These operators must be supplied with materials to keep the process running. Currently you are working with one supervisor and the two of you are responsible for logistics, a great opportunity to grow further with this organization. As production increases, the logistics team will expand and you will have more colleagues. 

Functie-eisen
  • You have a lift or reach truck certificate; 
  • You are available full time, initially from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Because it is a growing company they will eventually change to shifts;
  • Good communication skills in Dutch or English and the ability to work well in a team;
  • You are proactive and like to run throughout the warehouse, it is a versatile job where you do not sit still. 

If you have experience with a forklift, reach truck and EPT but no longer have a valid certificate, let us know Then we can make sure you get one. 

Arbeidsvoorwaarden
  • A market-based salary of €14.14 gross per hour. Do you have a lot of experience and is your salary indication slightly higher? Then make this negotiable with us; 
  • A full-time job of 38 hours per week, from Monday to Friday; 
  • An ADV compensation of 5,12% on top of your hourly wage; 
  • A travel allowance of €0.30 after the first 10 kilometers;
