Purchasing with Impact is a key strategic programwithin the business unit Supply. The program has a global scope andspans all three supply chain regions North America, Europe and AsiaPacific. The aim of the program is to optimize our purchasingperformance throughout the entire value chain to deliver betterbottom-line results for Vanderlande. The objective will be achievedby chasing dedicated savings initiatives, optimalizations ofspecific supply chains, global standardization and by realizing afit-for-future operating model.

Your role will beto support the program team of purchasing with impact consisting ofprogram manager who leads the day-to-day execution of the entireprogram. The PM is supported by various workstream leaders who(m)are all responsible for several sub areas over the overall program.During the assignment you will work on various initiatives for thedifferent program team members. The team consists of people withdifferent background ranging from procurement, supply chain,consultancy as well as finance.


Vanderlande is centrally located near the A50. This means it'seasily reachable from Eindhoven, Veldhoven, 's Hertogenbosch, Ossand Helmond.

This will lead to synergies and economies ofscale, and these changes will deliver more value for our customerswith a higher quality and at a more competitive price level. Youwill become a part of the program and contribute to making ourpurchasing organization fit-for future to facilitate the move fromETO to CTO by unlocking better price levels and leadtimes.

Functie-eisen

Thisworking student assignment will revolve around supporting theprogram team to meet their objectives in the various workstreamsranging from workshop facilitation towards PMO related activitieswith regards to savings and cost movementregistration.

The keyresponsibilitiesinclude:

  • Themanagement, report-out and global consolidation across threeregions North America, Europe and Asia Pacific of one or multiplekey KPIs of the program.
  • Several analystresponsibilities such as data preparation, data analysis, insightdevelopment and management report-out of theseinsights.
  • Program Management Officeresponsibilities such as the creation of general programcommunications, support and lead several workshops in the PWIdomain.
  • Project Management of smaller digitalprojects such as spend analytics dashboarding as well as supplierdelivery performance analyticsdashboarding.

Desiredskills:

  • Hard skills:Strong skill of Microsoft Excel, Power BI required, knowledge withSmartsheet, Jira can bring advantage.
  • Softskills: detailed oriented, organized,proactive.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden
  • An assignment for at least 3months.
  • 32-40 hours aweek. 
  • A salary of €15,- perhour.
  • 10% holidayhours.
  • 8,33% holidayallowance.
  • Weekly payment byOlympia.
