Full-time/Part-time Senior Research Assistant in the Department of Psychiatry, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 524276) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in psychology, social science, or any healthcare-related disciplines, with at least 3 years’ full-time work experience. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese), the ability to work independently and in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and the ability to collaborate with external parties including academics and social service groups. They should also have a strong quantitative background, relevant experience in conducting and managing community research and clinical studies, and demonstrated expertise in the analysis of large and complex datasets.

The appointee will participate in a 2-year ethnic minority mental health pilot project, which aims to evaluate the effectiveness of mental health counselling for the ethnic minority in the Hong Kong community. He/She will assist in the development and management of the research components of the project; conduct literature reviews; prepare questionnaires; conduct assessments with participants; collect, input and analyse data; and perform other duties as assigned.
