The OPS/Infra Roles and Responsibilities include change-, event-, availability-, incident- and problem management that make up processes aimed at maintaining and managing operations. This enables smooth IT operations and allows us to demonstrate that we are in control. The OPS/Infra Role is responsible for the overall integrity of application deck so must have knowledge of existing system set, the banks overall systems strategy and any applicable IT standards

OPS/Infra role will be part of an Agile/Scrum DevOps team and has end-to-end responsibility, on behalf of the business and clients, for developing, managing, and maintaining functionalities, which are prioritised by the product owner.

Your core focus is to keep the application and underlying infra running, performing well and up to date looking at Life Cycle Mgt patching and security requirements

Within sprints, you participate actively in all team activities (such as stand-ups, sprint planning meetings, and retrospectives) to ensure your progress is transparent. You work with your team to determine how you can ensure qualities (knowledge and skills) are—and remain—sufficiently present within the team. On rotational basis you facilitate these sessions.

Required competences

  • ITIL certification.

  • Proven experience in handling incidents, analysing root causes and communicating on these to our business and IT stakeholders

  • Experience in batch processing, monitoring

  • Experience in working with infrastructure like virtual machines, linux, oracle databases and sql scripting

  • Experience with OS patching, resolving vulnerabilities, handling (non) personal accounts and certificate management

  • Mindset and attitude

  • Team player

  • Pro actively taking ownership

  • Eager to learn and make the landscape better in small steps

  • Bonus competences

  • Experience working in Banking environment

  • Understanding of the distressed client management environment

  • Knowledge of Azure environment, preferably supported with Azure certifications

  • Knowledge of power bi which is used to report on LCM and Security events
