Research Assistant Professor

Applications are invited for appointment as Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.:524179), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
Requirements
a Ph.D. or MD(Res) degree in the tumor immunology, immunotherapy, oncology and/or synthetic biology; at least 2 years’ postdoctoral experience; strong publication record; experience in writing grant proposals for the research programs; experience in working with students and collaborators; fluency in English, Mandarin and preferably Cantonese; excellent skills in administrative work; experience in studying extracellular vesicles and gene editing in immune cells are preferred.What We Offer
The appointment will be on a fixed-term basis. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 15% of basic salary. Other benefits include annual leave, medical benefits and free access to on-campus gyms and libraries.
