Since you will be working at theindustrial sites in Venlo and Sevenum, it is important that youhave your own transportation or live nearby. The locations areeasily accessible by car from the surrounding municipalities ofVenlo, Peel en Maas, Venray, Roermond, Leudal, and Weert. However,as the client reimburses travel expenses, you can also easilycommute from Eindhoven, Echt-Susteren, Sittard-Geleen, andBorn.

As a Senior Maintenance Technician, youwill be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks onadvanced automation systems. You possess broad knowledge ofmechanical, electrical, and automation systems and can resolvecomplex issues. In this role, you will also be responsible formentoring junior technicians and providing technical advice tocolleagues.
Duties andResponsibilities
- Perform preventiveand corrective maintenance on various technicalinstallations.
- Resolve complex mechanical andelectrical faults and problems.
- Coach andmentor junior technicians and newemployees.
- Conduct root cause analysis onmalfunctions and recommendimprovements.
- Maintain maintenancedocumentation and reporting.
- Communicate withthe client to coordinate the maintenanceschedule.
- Ensure a safe working environment byadhering to safety protocols.
Beforeyou start, you will undergo a thorough training period. Here, youwill learn how to handle the systems and structures used within theclient’s warehouse. You will be working at the large warehouses inthe Venlo and Sevenum areas. Your training program will be led bythe resident technicians and an external trainer who will teach youall aspects of the role.
The work is in twoshifts from Monday to Friday, leaving your weekends free for yourpersonal activities. As mentioned earlier, you will be working forone of the large warehouses in the area, such as DSV, Stryker, orTommy Hilfiger. You will have a fixed workplace, which will bediscussed during your application process.
Functie-eisen- You have completed a vocational education(MBO) in mechatronics, electrical engineering, or mechanicalengineering.
- You have several years ofexperience in a role such as Maintenance Technician or TechnicalService Associate and are ready for the nextstep.
- You are flexible and willing to work in a2-shift schedule (Mon-Fri, 6 AM - 10 PM).
- Youhave expertise and can collaborate effectively with other seniortechnicians.
- A starting salary from €3000 based on yourknowledge and experience, with an additional 8-10% extra pay forhours worked after 8:00 PM.
- You will receive atravel allowance to commute from home towork.
- You will start directly with a contractfrom the employer, not as a temporaryemployee.
- You will receive 25 vacation daysbased on a full-time contract.
- Monthly 8%holiday pay on top of your monthlysalary.
