Vestas is the largest renewable energy solutions provider in the World. Vestas NCE is responsible for sales, construction, and servicing of wind projects in Benelux and other European Markets. Service Sales works with multiple functions in an international environment to deliver on Vestas "profitable growth" strategy.

Purpose and reason for the existence of the job

HKW VI Windfarm is a new windfarm compromising of Vestas V mw offshore wind turbines siting within NCE Offshore Cluster 4. We are recruiting a site based service manager ensure safe and efficient operations at site. The vestas site team at HKW consists of personnel. . You will have the opportunity to work in an exciting industry and in a team of highly motivated employees.

Responsibilities:

As Service Manager, you will be working at site and reporting to the Cluster 4 service Director. You will be P&L responsible for your site and be fully responsible for the service delivery including people management and complex logistics (SOV, multiple CTVs, etc.). In addition, your responsibilities will include overseeing the site team to ensure that they deliver optimized operation of Customer assets encompassing Quality, HSE, production performance, asset security, operations and maintenance activities and employee development.

You will work closely with the Customer in collaboration with the Customer Manager.

Qualifications: 

The ideal candidate is expected to have the following qualifications, experience from working in a similar position in an international service organisation within the wind or offshore industry is desirable but not essential:

Technical education / degree qualified or relevant industry experience. Proven experience with leadership and people management. Good business skills and a customer-focused, solution- and improvement-oriented mindset. Financial insight and experience with full P&L responsibility, which includes knowledge of key figures and KPIs. Fluency in English, both verbally and in writing.
