At Deloitte, we want to get to the heart of our client's issues and provide actionable solutions to help them become more responsible businesses. The Decarbonization team is a group of subject matter experts that work with clients across all sectors to understand, and reduce, their impact on climate change. In this role, you will: Lead client conversations as well as project teams independently, collaborating closely with our clients to unpack the sustainability-related business risks and opportunities relevant to their net zero journeys Support creation of an auditable baseline by quantifying scope 1, 2 and 3 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions Develop strategies and utilize technology for monitoring, reporting and forecasting GHG emissions Set ambitious, but achievable, decarbonization targets in line with Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and other leading practices Develop roadmaps for GHG emission reductions by identifying abatement opportunities, their associated costs and understanding the challenges clients face in implementing solutions (with a focus on scope 3 emissions) Connect decarbonization activities to regulatory requirements and ensure a future audit-proof data set Support through strong project management skills, the successful implementation of net zero/Scopes 123 inventory/SBT projects, as well as proposal creation and client pitches – a strong self starter, analytical mentality and ability to lead independently is required

Een pensioenregeling waarbij je eigen bijdrage slechts 2% is. Voor later. Mogelijkheid om deel te nemen aan de collectieve zorgkostenregeling. Fiscaal voordelige zaken. Denk aan bedrijfsfitness, het aanschaffen van een fiets tegen bruto salaris of de mogelijkheid om een fiets te leasen. De mogelijkheid om gebruik te maken van 55 uur oppasdienst per kalenderjaar, als jouw kind 12 jaar of jonger is. Een maandelijks budget waarmee je keuzes kunt maken in flexibele arbeidsvoorwaarden zoals extra vakantiedagen of het financieren van een fietsplan. Zes weken volledig betaald geboorteverlof voor traditionele huishoudens en regenbooggezinnen.
Be the true you
This role requires you to leverage your GHG emissions quantification expertise in an advisory role to help clients navigate the challenges involved in decarbonising. A strong command of the GHG emissions reporting environment is crucial, as well as creative and practical solutions to allow our clients to make real change.To be successful in this role, you have: Bachelor / (Post) Master degree in Accountancy / Finance / Economics / Sustainability; At least three years of related work experience Deep expertise in GHG emissions accounting, reporting and reduction Strong communication skills, including fluent written and spoken English (required), and ideally Dutch speaker (desired). The ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong attention to detail, Excel and Powerpoint skills and a self-starter mentality.
