Designing security architecture, vision and strategy for RTL in close collaboration with IT Security Operations.
Working together with other architects and the platform teams in designing security measures of the on-premise, cloud and network infrastructure. Design and define the security controls and checkpoints across RTL technology application stack. Embedding security aspects into the cloud & infra architecture and data architecture. Defining the security policies and taking care that they are implemented. As BISO, establish and maintain relationships with RTL Group authorities as required. Actively support the DISO’s activities, monitor and review the Business Unit ISMS with business stakeholders. As part of the ISMS, and with support of adjacent roles, the BISO performs the regular update of information assets inventory, systems and required levels of protection. Prepares proposals to improve the ISMS and its regulations and submit them to the DISO via regular reports or, whenever necessary, for division. Based on the ISMS “Risk Map” and “Management Review”, the BISO also coordinates with the respective Business stakeholders to evaluate the elimination or mitigations of the risks. Have regular contacts with the Executive Management of the organizational units to expose on-going security incidents, projects and actions. Proactively kept up to date of any latest threats discovered, their potential impact on RTL and immediate mitigation solution, monitoring and improving the security posture of RTL. Review of Security aspects for all new technical solutions or platforms in close cooperation with procurement and legal department. Preparing and planning penetration testing for new applications and reviewing the results acts as subject matter expert for stakeholders.
Your profile
At least 8+ years of experience working in similar roles. Experience in infrastructure and cloud-based architectures. Broad understanding and experience with public cloud security best practice and knowledge of advanced security and control mechanisms for cloud platforms, and integrating such across varied deployments. Understanding of security implications and tooling for monitoring. Experience in Secure Software Development Lifecycle and DevSecOps implementation. Knowledge about OWASP and projects related to secure development methodologies. Experience handling auditing process, addressing the auditing requests to due stakeholders. Knowledge and experience with Risk Assessment methodologies with a practical approach. Experience with fit-gap analysis, evaluating the compliance level of policies and procedures across the organization. Presenting skills, being able to delivery training and talks for the internal community about security awareness.
Your team
As a member of the Architecture team, your role will encompass shaping the Vision, Strategy, Roadmap and solutions for the Security domain, as well as for the entirety of the enterprise landscape. You'll collaborate closely with other Domain Architects and Tech Leads to seamlessly integrate your Domain architecture with other Domains. Your responsibility will involve establishing specific standards, principles, and best practices within the domain, taking ownership of defining and crafting the interactions among technological components (systems, sub-systems, and components) of the solution architecture. This includes ensuring their agility, reliability, scalability, and their harmonious interactions with other domains. You will also be tasked with formulating and safeguarding the Domain Blueprint.
