The company consists of a team of energetic professionals dedicated to making corporate Netherlands sustainable. Their focus is on reducing the energy consumption of organizations and buildings, but they also have the knowledge and intrinsic motivation to fully sustain other aspects of organizations. They do this with a large group professionals from various locations in a wide range of sectors and for different types of companies and governments. Their goal is to make corporate Netherlands more sustainable and to be the partner for all entrepreneurs and management teams facing energy and sustainability challenges now and in the coming years.

Your contribution:
In this role, you play a crucial role in the development of the online platform, making a meaningful impact towards a greener future. You are a champion of developing high-quality software that maximally meets the (sustainability) needs of the client. Your technical expertise and proactivity are essential for the success of our organization.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Front-end developer to strengthen the platform team. With the platform, you help clients to become more sustainable by providing insights and advice based on user and generation data. You will work on a customer-oriented product, with Vue.js as the basis for our Front-end application. The backend is realized in Azure / .Net. You will closely collaborate with other Developers, Product Owners, and the designer to realize this new platform.

Some of your responsibilities include:
  • Collaborative development: Working closely with a team of Vue.js and .NET developers to design, develop, test, and implement a high-quality new platform in the energy transition.
  • Quality assurance: Collaborating with team members to ensure code quality through code reviews and implementing best practices for software development.
  • Active involvement: Being actively involved in the development process, contributing ideas, and helping to refine requirements to better meet customer needs.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Working closely with other development teams and the wider organization to realize sustainable solutions for Censo clients.
  • Mentorship and knowledge sharing: Providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and knowledge sharing within the development team.


Requirements
  • You have a Bachelor's/Master's degree level of working and thinking, and preferably completed an ICT-related study.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience as a front-end developer or in a similar role, with a strong affinity for structuring (S)CSS
  • You take ownership of your work, from design to production environment
  • You have proven experience designing, implementing, and optimizing front-end applications, preferably with the Vue.js framework
  • You are experienced with most of the following: Vue.js, Sass, Less, Typescript, JavaScript, Atlassian, Git, Docker, Solid development, Agile/Scrum
  • You have a passion for sustainability and an interest in green software development. Direct experience in the energy or sustainability sector is not required
  • You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of resolving complex technical issues and devising practical solutions
  • You enjoy working in a team and support a positive and supportive team atmosphere
  • You speak and write English well; understanding Dutch is a plus
