Working hours
The workinghours in this full-time position of 40 hours per week are duringregular office hours. There is a preference for 40 hours aweek but 36 is also possible. Lower than 36 is not anoption. Employment agency Manpower is looking for a PayrollRepresentative Germany for Dow in Terneuzen.
The main objective of the Payroll Representativerole is to ensure that the employees are paid in time and accurate,in compliance with the respective country tax-legislation, agreedlabor conditions and company rules and regulations.
As a Payroll Representative you will beresponsible to perform and coordinate administrative and controlactivities on behalf of the Dow Payroll department. In your workyou demonstrate structure and process orientation, with an eye fordetail. Flexibility is key for your tasks, with a high workcapacity. In your interactions with local and internationalpartners you are perceived as a valuable advisor on payrollmatters.
By nature, this jobrequires a substantial amount of coordination with a variety ofinternal- and external stakeholders where accountability andownership of data and processes are key. Some of your duties are:
- Delivering Payroll, Time & Absence, andData Management in a productive and efficient manner
- Processing information with confidentialityand with a high level of accuracy
- Interchangesalary input and output data with the payroll provider and performcalculations and validation activities to ensure the processing ofaccurate data.
- Prepare and execute accurateand timely (manual) payments to employees, to local authorities andto the payroll provider
ThePayroll Representative Germany is part of the Payroll/T&A teamin the EMEAI HR Solutions organization, located in Terneuzen, theNetherlands.
The HR Solutions organization isresponsible for the design and delivery of innovative solutions toall employees and leaders. HR Solutions roles contain deepsubject-matter expertise in order to consult on programs, processesand people. The top priority of HR Solutions is to deliver the bestEmployee Experience. The team will consist out of 5 persons (1manager, 2 specialists and 2 representatives). This is a long termassignment.

- Preferably you also have 2years of payroll experience or an affinity with numbers and anunderstanding of seeing connections
- Availability of 40 hours per week
- A Dutch work permit that is valid for at leastnine months or an EU-nationality
- A certificateof conduct (Verklaring Omtrent Gedrag or VOG) that shows you havenot committed any criminal offences
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Workday, ServiceNow, MS Office &SAP.
- Proficiency in any other Europeanlanguage is an asset.
- Understandorganizational interdependencies and experience working acrossfunctions and cultures.
- Experience inhigh volume operational environments is required.
- Experience in internal controls through prioraudit participation is preferred.
- Goodproblem solving, critical thinking skills and managing competingpriorities.
