BeschrijvingResponsibilities: Senior GL Accountant

As a Senior GL Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Preparing monthly accruals and provisions, with a focus on payroll-related items;
  • Reconciling all balance sheet items and preparing documentation for review;
  • Preparing VAT Returns, including journal entries;
  • Reconciling intercompany accounts, including loans/interests and invoices;
  • Processing bank entries related to the GL;
  • Actively participating in the month-end closing process;
  • Participating in the statutory accounts audit;

 

RequirementsRequirements: Senior GL Accountant

In order to succeed in this role, we ask that you have:

  • 3-5 years of financial or accounting experience, preferably in a large international organization;
  • Minimum HBO level educational background in accounting, finance, economics or related field;
  • Strong technical skillset in Office software applications; 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and efficiently;
  • Some familiarity and experience with ERP Systems, preferably Oracle;
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma would be considered a plus;
  • Strong command of the English language required, Dutch preferred.
SalarisThe Offer: Senior GL Accountant

This role will have a monthly salary between 4500 and 5500 depending on knowledge level and experience.
