As a Senior Digital Workplace Specialist at Odido, you are a pioneer in making technology human and accessible. With a progressive attitude, you strive to implement technologies that are as reliable and user-friendly as platforms like Netflix. In this role, you are responsible for technically and tactically leading our IT Support team with a focus on the digital workplace environment.

You play a crucial role in executing the roadmap developed by the Product Owner, providing direction and support to our dynamic team. You maintain a strong focus on what is and isn't feasible in the building blocks proposed by the roadmap, aligning them with the long-term vision of the Principal SME Digital Workplace (Architect). You dare to challenge the business and your team with your experience and technical knowledge of the Digital Workplace.

Here is an overview of the main responsibilities within this rewarding role:

Tactical Domain Leadership:

  • Provide tactical leadership within the field and guide inter-domain related decisions and initiatives.
  • Develop and implement tactics that align with organizational goals. Act as a thought leader who promotes innovation and excellence.
  • Follow and implement the roadmap with a focus on innovative, user-friendly, and maintainable solutions. Determine future directions and identify market trends in the digital workplace, always with a focus on the human experience.

Problem Solving at Scale:

  • Lead the resolution of complex issues, ensuring scalable, future-proof, and sustainable solutions.
  • Analyze and resolve high-impact problems. Provide guidance for long-term solutions and contribute to the organization's resilience and risk management.
  • Act as a technical expert with an approach that makes technology simpler and more accessible for all users. Prepare for a future role as Principal SME/Architect by closely collaborating with the IT architect.

Knowledge Architecture and Transfer:

  • Manage the knowledge framework within the organization and facilitate efficient knowledge transfer to the Juniors and Mediors of the department.
  • Serve as a mentor and coach for junior and Medior SMEs and ensure knowledge continuity through documentation and training.

Tactical Collaboration and Partnership:

  • Promote tactical collaborations and partnerships within and outside the organization.
  • Collaborate with industry leaders. Form partnerships that contribute to the organization's growth. Represent the organization in relevant forums.

Continuous Innovation and Research:

  • Lead the exploration and integration of new technologies and methodologies within the field.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends. Initiate and lead research projects. Implement innovative solutions for the organization's advancement.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/IT/Business Information Management.
  • 7 to 10 years of relevant work experience in the technical management of digital workplaces or a similar field.
  • Proven experience in a medium to large organization (at least 500 employees).
  • In-depth knowledge of and experience with workplace management and setting up employee journeys within large organizations.
  • Experience with related Workplace “building blocks” such as Entra, Active Directory, Intune, Azure, Remote Access, Microsoft/Office 365.
  • Substantial knowledge of IT Infrastructure, Network, and operational management issues.
  • Demonstrable knowledge in using PowerShell to support change processes and operational activities.
  • Fluent in business English, preferably Dutch B1 level or higher. .
