Brand Identity and Design Manager

Role purpose and position
We’re looking for a creative brand identity/design manager with a keen eye for brand consistency and graphic design, to work in our professional, internationally focused and fun team. Your main goal will be to build a strong, distinctive brand identity for Aegon (and its subsidiaries) in our geographies by developing/adjusting guidelines and templates and applying them across different brand carriers. You’ll be managing multiple projects with tight deadlines and will be interacting with a wide range of stakeholders from different cultural backgrounds. Crucial to how our stakeholders experience our brand is the design across our MS Office suite, in particular PowerPoint presentations. Your in-depth experience in developing these relevant brand assets and making cutting-edge presentations is a key to success.
Reporting to the Head of Brand, you’ll collaborate closely with the rest of the CC&B department and other Corporate Center and business unit colleagues to ensure the impactful and consistent implementation of our new, vibrant visual identity. You’ll also work closely together with our agency partners.
Key responsibilities include
Develop and refine brand identity guidelines and templates in collaboration with BU teams and agencies. Monitor the effectiveness of the visual identity and provide guidance for enhancements. Manage our brand platform (Brand Center), making brand guidelines, templates and assets available to CC&B and business unit colleagues. Make sure that all brand carriers we design are visually striking and consistent. Provide advice to brand/marketing teams and agency partners in consistently applying the visual identity, acting as our devoted brand ambassador. Together with the Brand Managers review the key brand carriers designed by the business units, striving to enhance creativity and consistency. Design and manage the production of a range of different brand carriers for Corporate Center/Holding and global functions, with a specific focus on cutting-edge presentations and supporting materials. Be the go-to-person for all (Microsoft Office) design and templates.Know-how/experience
Bachelor’s degree in Brand Strategy, Design/Visual Identity, or related fields. Minimum of 5 years in a brand/visual identity/design role within a company or agency. A profound grasp of branding principles and creativity. Proficiency in visual identity/design and an eye for detail and consistency. Experience/background in graphic design. Strong advisory, project and stakeholder management skills. Experienced in working in an international environment. Proven MS Office design skills and experience – specifically for PowerPoint presentations. Result-oriented team player with hands-on mentality. Proficient English speaker.
What are we offering?
Compensation levels depend upon an applicant’s qualifications and will be determined by hiring supervisors/managers and HR.
You will receive a thirteenth month and a holiday allowance in the form of a monthly flex budget, amounting to 16.7% of your monthly salary
