The  Process Engineer  provides engineering support to the business unit for Maintenance of gas-turbine engines and its processes. Ensures compliance to relevant airworthiness and contractual requirements.

Accountabilities

Provides engineering support to operations to assist with the disassembly, inspection, repair and assembly process of gas-turbine engines; Reviews & interprets Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) technical documentation and define its impact on work instructions and procedures. Creates & develops work instructions and writes technical reports / proposals with factual formats and conclusions; Recognizes and understands flight/product safety critical parts and processes; Identifies and implements continuous improvement projects to accomplish production objectives; Carries out special projects as assigned.

What You'll need?

Bachelor degree in mechanical, industrial, aerospace, or metallurgical engineering; or equivalent. Good planning, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, decision making, oral and written communication skills; Knowledge of company processes, company instructions, and quality requirements to contribute to airworthiness and contractual requirements; Knowledge of special processes (parts cleaning, NDT techniques and machining) is preferred; Working knowledge of gas turbine/accessory design theory, basic back-shop practices, and basic gas turbine metallurgy; familiarity with engine manuals; Working knowledge in a company operating system environment; Strong software skills are required for the use of SA systems and administrative procedures.  You demonstrate a strong ability to work in a close team environment.
