We are looking for a passionate Assistant Treasurer our location Arnhem who will contribute to this and that might be you? The treasury department (TRE) is responsible for debt funding, liquidity management, risk management, rating- and investor relations and advises the board and management on relevant treasury topics. The current financing portfolio has a volume of more than €25 billion and consists of a combination of senior bonds, hybrid bonds, US private placements, Schuldschein, commercial paper, shareholder loans and bank loans. A significant part of the debt portfolio is issued in a Green format and as one of the largest European corporate issuers of sustainable, green debt financing, we are awarded with several green debt capital market awards in the recent years. Continuation of a good access to various public and private capital markets is a key objective of the company.

Your contribution to TenneT

With one of the current Cash Managers going to enjoy a well-earned retirement, TenneT has a vacancy for a new Cash Manager to support the remaining Cash Manager. This role is an ideal opportunity for a financial professional with the ambition to expand his/her treasury experience and would like to take part in the energy transition. As part of the small treasury team consisting of 5 Fte, you will be joining the team that raises the (long term) debt funding and is responsible for cash management. Together with our other Cash Manager you will be primarily responsible for short term funding, cash management and the operational treasury activities e.g. management bank account structure, reporting, KYC etc.. Additionally you will be working on a wide variety of treasury related projects.

Your profile and background

Academic working level; 3 - 7 years of experience in e.g. banking and/or cash management; Highly interested in treasury business, financing and financial services; Strong analytical, reporting and project management skills Hands-on mentality; takes responsibility, is accountable and results driven; well-organized, self-starter, cooperative, team player; Strong relationship management skills i.e. able to build and maintain networks on several levels; Excellent language skills in English and Dutch.
