The Centre of Excellence (CoE) is part of the EMEA Marketing department and responsible for maintaining the visual identity and brand reputation of Dyson in your market. We work collaboratively with local Dyson teams (Marketing, PR, Direct, Sales Teams…) to deliver seamless consumer experiences that instill an understanding of and confidence in the products performance, distinct commercial benefits to the business and ultimately brand advocacy and loyal


About the role

We are looking for a designer to bring to life our direct propositions across our owned digital channels and execute our presence in controlled and 3rd party environments.

You’ll work closely with a team of creatives from the EMEA Centre of Excellence (CoE) and with the Creative team at Group to design memorable experiences that engage our audiences at any touchpoint in their Dyson journey. You’ll ensure delivery is aligned to best-in-class UX principles and Dyson brand guidelines 

You will be operating as a Dyson brand guardian within the markets. The brand is an important part of this role and therefore the role demands a clear understanding of the brand principles. 

You'll be responsible for delivering the design for multiple experiences across the full spectrum of digital channels and ensuring that execution is in line with expectation. You'll work closely with the senior team to understand the direction and enhance our shopper and owner journeys. 

You'll have a sharp eye for detail and an aptitude for creating pixel perfect, user-friendly designs. You'll be passionate about designing insight-driven, user-centred designs that build on our Dyson values, applying current UX principles and ensuring execution meets expectation. 

You’ll be working collaboratively with multiple functions to ensure consistency in the executions of multiple campaigns, enhancements, and experience projects. 

Responsibilities Include

Ensure all work is aligned to Dyson values and follows guidelines  Create, adapt and artwork existing 2D and 3D templates to support local marketing activity Art working of co-branded / retailer specific materials Work with creative team to brainstorm and share ideas Demonstrate creative thinking & superior design skills  Keep abreast of the media landscape, exploring tech advances, connected products, social trends etc. Continuous development of technical design abilities

About you

4-5 years’ experience as part of an integrated design team

Understanding of how digital creative connects to other media channels and forms a complete customer experience

Experience designing for responsive digital content that works across device Experience of designing for & delivery of DOOH  Experience of designing and art working print  Understanding of platform requirements  Eye for detail, layout and typography  Understanding of information architecture  Strong organizational and time management skills Natural team player, propensity to push and explore ideas beyond the norm.  3+yrs of relevant experience within agency and/or in-house design teams A strong portfolio that demonstrates your eye for detail and digital skills Experience creating and executing responsive, mobile-first designs Experience creating prototypes, wireframes, storyboards, and user flows Experience using tools such as Sketch, Figma, Axure, Illustrator, Photoshop and InVision Excellent design skills and knowledge of insight-led user-centred design principles Good communication and stakeholder management skills Understanding of basic front-end dev languages: HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript Digital Comms, (Display/ Social Design) Social Platform Specs Knowledge Digital OOH Print OOH Press Design PoS Design Brand Identity Logo Creation/Lock Up Layout and Typography Master Template Imagery Briefing Retouching Briefing Retouching Basic Background Extensions / Clean Up (Digital/Social) Retouching – High End Cosmetic / Comping (Print/OOH) Clipping Paths in Sketch Leap / Sitecore
